France 1837

Hermès' uniqueness in the field of furnishing fabrics and wallpapers demonstrates its talents as both illustrator and story-teller. To this end, short and coherent collections highlight the natural materials and exacting, exceptional and rare expertise.

Over the course of its collections, Hermès weaves narratives in which designs, patterns and colours interact and come together in harmony. These stories complement and enrich one another with imagination and precision.

France 1837

Illustrator, colourist and storyteller on silk since the creation of his first scarf in 1937, over the recently years, Hermès revealed its furnishing fabrics and wallpapers collection of drawing inspiration from cherished themes: horse, travel and fantasy and so forth. The collections revolve around three families: the Illustrative, the Graphic and the Plains and semi-plains. Sober and sophisticated, patterns and textures intermingle on the classic Hermès color palette.
